5G is envisioned to support a wide range of IoT verticals with a diverse set of performance and service requirements. Network slicing is a key component of the 5G architecture,  enabling network operators to expand their customer base and offer new, differentiated services. In this paper, ATIS proposes a new standard slice to better address key applications on the 5G network.
